Here one can see the lily pond at centre surrounded by rocks and red shrubs or flowers. In mid-ground are several medium sized trees and in the background the Stollmeyer’s Castle’s turrets. On the right is a tram. Between the turn of the 20th century and 1950, the electric tramway gave a picturesque tour around the perimeter of the Savannah at two (2) cents per trip. This ended due to the protests from citizens over the noise and congestion caused by the tram.
