One of its four walkways, leading to the Cenotaph at the center, is featured prominently in the foreground. In the background there is a residence and what looks like a church. The monument was installed on 28 June 1924 at what was once called the Small Savannah which was renamed “War Memorial Park’.</description> <description>Funding for this project has been provided by Mrs. Irma E.
