: Cette communication nous présente une étude intéressante sur la vie d'une famille habitant sur la petite île de l'archipel des îles Vierges britanniques Jost Van Dyke. Une recherche originale car cette famille appartient au mouvement religieux des Quakers (Société religieuse des Amis). Quelle était la relation entre les quakers et leurs esclaves ? Comment vivaient-ils sur l'île ?
